Correcting Badly Formatted External Link

There is an external link to my site that looks OK on the page, but is generating a 404. When I looked at the source code it has this: example.com/production%E2%80%93music instead of example.com/production-music So although it looks like a hyphen, it's a dash of some sort. I thought I could fix it with a 301 redirect but it does not work with Redirect 301 /production%E2%80%93music Does anyone know how I can fix this (no luck with getting in contact with the site owner so far
