If at all possible – get the plaintiff off the other platform. See if you can establish email or telephone contact with them. Deal with the problem directly and personally, rather than publicly. Read through the message analytically. You need to gather the evidence. Can you see who, what, when and where? Can you get them to provide additional information, such as who they dealt with, what store, what their invoice number is, or if they have a receipt etc. (This is a good method to get them to go private :D) Do offer apologies, but apologies for how they are feeling, and for any delay whilst you investigate the issue. Apologising to any/every complaint may mean you are saying for sorry for things that aren’t your fault, or that never even happened!
