AJAX Hash Bang URLs No Longer Work In Fetch As Google Tool

This week, Google introduced the new fetch as Google tool that now supports rendering the page as well. The tool is actually very sweet in many ways, including visualizing what Google sees and showing you what Google cannot see. But there is an issue, the Fetch as Google feature no longer supports hash bang URLs, the AJAXy URLs some newer sites use. Here is a picture from Aaron Bradley on Google+ and Google Webmaster Help showing the issue: John Mueller from Google responded saying this is something Google should probably fix. He wrote: That seems like something we should fix / support here too - thanks for posting! In the meantime, you can just rewrite the URLs yourself and submit those.
