Google Revamps Restaurant Search For Android, What This Means For Marketers

Google announced they have recently made changes to the restaurant search experience on Android by allowing users to filter results by price, ratings, cuisine, and what’s open right now. You can activate this new feature by inputting the command “show me restaurants in [location]” into the Google search bar. Once a list of results is populated you will have the option to filter the results by the parameters of your choice. This feature currently only works in the United States, but Google says to “stay tuned” which presumably means they have plans to roll out the feature to other countries. What This Means For Marketers This is a useful feature for customers, but what you may be wondering what it means for a business owner or marketer.
