3 Ways to Drastically Improve Outreach for "Big Content" [Case Study]

Hi Gregory, I loved this post. My absolute favorite excerpt is when you said "reference a past piece of content that did well, and email your new pitch to the specific journalist/publisher who posted it. " That is brilliant advice and I will second that. It works for me every single time. I just used this approach to get 5 press releases (real news, not drivel) out about a big event we are putting on with one of our vendors tomorrow. The end results will be "big Content" [sorry Dr. Pete, the term stuck] that our fans and followers can watch, share and learn from for many months. I also like (and use) the "network before you need to" comment. That too works like a charm, maybe because it's a lot easier to get a positive response from the other party if they can tell you aren't frantically trying to promote something.
