Simple Formula For Adverting Charges

It's really really tricky - or at least I find it so. You can't just rely on traffic as it's about how much revenue the advertiser will make from the traffic.For example you could have two pages with the same amount of traffic but one is about choosing an insurance product and the other is about grooming your pet chicken. Obviously ad space on the insurance product page is going to be more valuable as the insurance advertiser is likely to make more from insurance products than someone selling chicken grooming devices. One option is to look at what similar sites in your niche charge - although in many cases you'll be estimating their traffic. You could also test to see how much you'd make from ads served up from a service like google adsense. That's a good way to get a minimum figure - you know you can make x amount from them so you want to set your prices at least that high.
