Today is Google's 14th birthday, well some would say their birthday was on September 7th, but Google changed their birthday several years ago to be on September 27th. To celebrate, Google has a basic animated GIF logo on their home page. The logo has 14 candles on top of a cake. The cake is then eaten but it leaves a pattern of the Google letters so it remains a Google Doodle even after it is eaten. I am sure there is more symbolism here but I don't currently see it. In all my years covering Google's birthdays, I've never seen such a large number of happy birthday wishes from users in the Google forums. I only listed a few below but there are literally tons and tons of good wishes from users.
