Well, it's a start... WP Engine, a WordPress hosting service announced We’ve Removed Bot Traffic From Overage Calculations , WP Engine blog, 10-October-2015. Starting October 13, we no longer charge you overages based on bot traffic—we only use human traffic to calculate billable visits. Ummm, not quite... What bots are included in your list? A: We cover a broad list of most of the most commonly known bots. This list is updated on a frequent basis. So, not really 'only human traffic'. But, it is a start. Just recently Google et al decided that charging for unseen ad 'impressions' was getting advertisers aka customers riled so switched to 'half seen for a second'... yah. It's a start. A decade later than others such as myself. If this keeps up I may lose my premium competitive advantage. But not yet. Not while 'they all' do the minimum possible after dragging your feet for ...
