With the latest report from comScore, though, one might be forgiven for wondering if it was the correct 2,000.First, let's take a look at the layoffs. The firing of 2,000 employees more than decimated the company's payroll of 14,000. Search Engine Land reported Yahoo's confirmation of the layoffs, and that the beleaguered search engine expects to realize approximately $375 million of annualized savings upon completion of all employee transitions.
