Bit of a crazy week with SMX and all the major announcements to catch up on. Google announced they rewrote their search algorithm to make it faster and more precise, nicknamed it Hummingbird. However, there is no good way to see if your site was impacted by it. Facebook finally made their search useful by letting you search status updates and posts. Google mobile is now officially on the card user interface. Knowledge graph has filters and integrated with Google Now, plus there is a cool new musician version of it. Google Authorship was added to image search but I don't understand why. We had serious reporting delays with Google Webmaster Tools search query data. Matt Cutts said Google Trends is less useful because of spammers. Google AdWords can now estimate conversions across devices. Google AdWords added a native copy and paste feature.
