Here’s a little experiment we ran to gauge the impact of Penguin 2.0 -

If at all Penguin has impacted your site and you feel that your site still hasn’t recovered; the best approach would be to carefully segregate your backlinks data into exact, non-exact, brand, and other types of anchor text. Once this is done, all you need to do is work on diversifying your backlink structure. Start building links using anchor text which you feel have been neglected in the past. Look for links from low quality domains that need to be cleaned up. This becomes especially important if you have a high percentage of low quality links. Rinse and repeat until you feel you have achieved a nicely balanced and well diversified backlink structure.
