As we enter 2018, it’s time to say goodbye to some old SEO habits. These are SEO tactics that just plain don’t work, or even worse, can get a website penalized. Below is a list of the top nine habits that need to be kicked to the curb. 1. Creating One Page for Each Keyword Variation With semantic search, we are well past the days where we optimized one page for one keyword. The focus is now on the overall topic for each page, which can help support themes within a website. There is still remnants of the one keyword, one page approach, though, and it often shows up with local pages.
