No, Google Isn't Ranking M-Dot Domains Higher Than Responsive Sites

This is a funny one, I spotted John Mueller of Google having to tell a webmaster/SEO that Google is not giving a special ranking boost to m-dot mobile sites over responsive mobile sites or any other supported form of mobile sites. For some reason this SEO felt that after the 9/16 update that Google began ranking m-dots higher than other mobile sites. John Mueller said that is absolutely not true, saying "we're not special-casing them; sometimes they rank well, sometimes they don't." Here are the tweets: We're not special-casing them; sometimes they rank well, sometimes they don't. — John ☆.o(≧▽≦)o.☆ (@JohnMu) September 27, 2017 I wonder where these ideas come from? If anything, you'd think people would speculate the other way, that responsive are given a special case but no, that isn't true either. In any event, I wanted to share this fun one with you.
