Smart Bids

A Smart Bid is optimised to give advertisers the best value for money.

Advertisers' reach increases at a slower rate as Share of View increases. For example, 100% SoV advertising on a website might reach 100% of its visitors, but 50% SoV might already reach 80% of its visitors. As a result, each unit of Share of View is usually worth more to advertisers as the Share of View decreases.

A smart bid addresses this by breaking down your bid into multiple smaller bids. The following examples will illustrate this.

Example A, showing how original bid A will be transformed into smart bid A:

Please note that the above examples are only illustrative. The actual number of bids and the factors of the Max. SoV are different and are subject to change. However, you will never pay a higher CPM for any impression than your bid, and you will never be given more than your bid's Max. SoV.
